Nail Reconstruction

Leave with your toenails looking great with LCN nail reconstruction

LCN toenail reconstruction is a professional cosmetic treatment designed to improve the appearance of damaged, discoloured, ridged, split or partially missing toenails.

WHAT IT IS

LCN medical grade nail reconstruction

LCN toenail reconstruction is a professional cosmetic treatment designed to improve the appearance of damaged, discoloured, ridged, split or partially missing toenails.

Following a clinical assessment, the affected nail is carefully prepared before a flexible LCN Wilde-Pedique gel is applied, sculpted and colour-matched to create a natural-looking replacement nail. The reconstructed nail can help restore confidence when wearing open-toed footwear and may be suitable for nails affected by trauma, previous nail surgery or fungal damage.

Please note that nail reconstruction is a cosmetic treatment and does not cure an underlying fungal nail infection. Suitability will be assessed at your appointment, and alternative treatment may be recommended where there is active infection, inflammation, an open wound or insufficient healthy nail for the reconstruction to adhere to.

This appointment includes the assessment, preparation and reconstruction of one toenail. Please contact the clinic before booking if you require treatment for more than one nail.

For the best assessment, please attend with all nail polish or gel polish removed.

WHY PATIENTS CHOOSE IT

The benefits of LCN Nail Reconstruction

01

Immediate cosmetic improvement

LCN nail reconstruction restores the appearance of damaged, missing, or deformed nails right away, giving patients a natural-looking result they can wear with confidence from the moment they leave the clinic.

04

A medical-grade, professionally applied solution

Applied within a clinical setting by a trained professional, LCN reconstruction is tailored to the individual foot and nail, making it a considered, medical-grade option rather than a purely cosmetic treatment.

02

Protection for the natural nail bed

The reconstructed nail acts as a durable protective barrier over the vulnerable nail bed, shielding it from knocks, pressure, and further trauma while the natural nail regrows underneath.

03

Breathable and flexible material

Unlike many cosmetic alternatives, the LCN system uses a resin that allows the nail to breathe and flexes with the natural movement of the toe, supporting healthier nail conditions and greater everyday comfort.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

What happens on the day

1

Clinical Assessment
Y
our practitioner examines the affected nail and surrounding skin, confirms the treatment is suitable, and discusses the outcome you can expect. If there's active infection, inflammation, an open wound, or too little healthy nail for the gel to adhere to, an alternative treatment may be recommended instead.

2

Nail Preparation
The affected nail is gently cleaned, reduced and shaped, and its surface is prepared so the gel bonds securely. Attending with all nail polish or gel polish removed helps ensure an accurate assessment and the best possible adhesion.

3

Gel Application

The flexible gel is applied to the prepared nail in layers and cured, building up the structure of the new replacement nail.

4

Sculpting and colour match
The gel is sculpted to the natural shape of your nail and colour-matched to blend with your surrounding nails, creating a discreet, natural-looking result.

5

Aftercare Advice
Before you leave, you'll be given guidance on caring for and maintaining the reconstructed nail, along with any recommendations for follow-up.
